Sometimes in order to make a point, you have to take the point to the extreme, before people get the point you are trying to make. Shocked in The Smokies ~ Al & I were rather shocked this week as we were hiking up one of The Smokey Mountain trails. A man roughly 50 years old, was coming down the mountain, dressed very similar to the man in this picture. The only difference is this guy looks like he’s fooling around, and the guy we met, wasn’t wearing it to be funny and make people laugh. He was wearing it because that was HIM. I don’t know of any normal woman who wouldn’t be creeped out if she were to meet a man alone on a lonely mountain trail, dressed like the guy we met. Our Clothes Show Our Heart & Mind What we wear speaks VOLUMES about where our heart and our mind is at. If we wear clothes that are obviously very expensive and showy, what message are we giving to the world? We are telling the world that we are very wealthy. If we wear clothes that are seductive and immodest, we are telling the world that we are ADVERTISING and that we don’t have much SELF-RESPECT. If we wear clothes and contraptions like this man, we are telling the world that our MIND IS IN THE GUTTER, and that LOW, PERVERTED SEXUAL THOUGHTS is what we dwell on. The clothes we wear are a REVEALER of our hearts & minds. The Question We Should Always Ask, As Christians ~ As Christians, we should always ask ourselves ~ “Am I giving a right representation of Christianity by the clothes I am wearing?” What Our Clothes Should Tell About Us ~ Our clothes should reflect that we are HAPPY, ORGANIZED, MODEST and PRACTICAL. • People who wear DARK CLOTHES all the time, are not typically HAPPY people. That doesn’t mean we should wear FLAMBOYANT clothes, not at all. As Christians, we shouldn’t wear clothes that attract people to US. Our clothes should REFLECT our relationship with Jesus. • Our clothes should complement each other ~ We shouldn’t wear a striped shirt with plaid pants. That reveals disorganized thoughts. • Modesty should be paramount. Christians will never wear immodest clothes that cause others to think sinful thoughts by looking at them. • Our clothes should be practical for whatever the occasion is that we are attending, whether it be Church, School, Work, a Race, Cleaning the Barn, Climbing a Tree, a Wedding, etc. We should wear clothes that are PRACTICAL and that show RESPECT for the Occasion. First Impressions Mean Everything ~ Yes, it’s important WHAT we wear. FIRST IMPRESSIONS mean a lot, a whole lot. If you were blessed by this read, we think you will enjoy this one, too.

Tagged Christian Leaders, Death is Sleep, Do Not Die and Go Directly to Heaven, Most Christians on the Wrong Road TRUTH: You Do Not Die and Go Immediately to Heaven. “O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.” Isaiah 3:12 Christian Leaders Leading Christians Down a Wrong Road ~ Christians, as a WHOLE (there are exceptions but they are few and far between) are being led down a “WRONG ROAD”. And it’s the Christian leaders who are leading them. One of the MOST COMMON and MOST DANGEROUS beliefs promoted by Christian leaders (Priests, Pastors, Teachers, etc) is that when you die, you go RIGHT TO HEAVEN. There is not an OUNCE of TRUTH in this teaching. But sadly, it is taught as if it were GOSPEL. A Prime Example ~ This morning, I saw that a religious leader recently died and just as I said above…she is portrayed as being instantly in Heaven with Jesus and her loved ones who have died before her. The Bible says that when we die, NOTHING happens. We are just put in a casket or cremated, and we SLEEP until Jesus returns to RESURRECT the SAINTS. What Does the Bible Say Happens When You Die? ~ Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ~ “1Th 4:13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 1Th 4:14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1Th 4:15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1Th 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1Th 4:18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.” Notice verse 16: “….the DEAD IN CHRIST (the Christians) will rise first.” If the Christians who have died are ALREADY in Heaven, they wouldn’t be the 1st ones to come out of their graves at the Resurrection. They wouldn’t be coming out of their graves at all because they would already be in Heaven! In fact, there would be NO NEED for a RESURRECTION if all the SAINTS are ALREADY in Heaven! Obviously, you do not die and go immediately to Heaven. Death Is Just a SLEEP ~ When we die, we are just SLEEPING in the grave….until Jesus comes. Yet, practically every funeral sermon you hear, the Priest, Pastor or Teacher tells those listening, that the person who died was whisked off to Heaven the moment they took their last breath here on earth. Going To Heaven the Second You Die is Just An Adult Fairy Tail ~ This is an ADULT FAIRY TALE. There is NO TRUTH to it at all. It is actually from PAGAN origin, a leftover teaching from PAGAN CATHOLICISM. The TRUTH is, you do not die and go immediately to Heaven. Would Heaven Really Be Heaven If….? Heaven would not be very “heavenly” if that really happened. Can you imagine dying, being whisked off to Heaven and looking down on your loved ones and friends. Imagine watching your mate grieve and have a hard time going on with life without you. Imagine seeing all of your friends and family suffer with their various illness. Imagine watching your Grandchildren make terrible choices and perhaps commit suicide. Imagine seeing the many people who are wiped out of existence by tornadoes, hurricanes and floods, famine and disease. .Does that sound “heavenly”???? Not to me! Thank God! He is not going to make us endure those things when we die. No, the Bible tells us we will just be SLEEPING in the grave until Jesus returns and wipes out all the SIN, SADNESS, SICKNESS & SUFFERING. THEN and not until then, does He take us to Heaven, and THEN Heaven will be TRULY HEAVENLY! “For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing;” Ecclesiastes 9:5. When you die, you KNOW NOTHING again until Jesus resurrects you at the 2nd Coming! Clearly, you do not die and go immediately to Heaven. Please, read your Bible…don’t believe this lie. Just as ONE LIE causes people to LIE AGAIN to cover the 1st LIE, so one FALSE TEACHING like this ~ that when you die you go right to Heaven ~ prepares the way for yet more FALSE TEACHINGS. These FALSE TEACHERS have you on a WRONG ROAD and will lead you into many DECEPTIONS. You Do Not Die and Go Immediately to Heaven ~ Remember! It’s the TRUTH that sets us FREE.
